Board Member

Guido Neels has over 40 years of experience developing international healthcare businesses. In addition to Amici Lovanienses, Guido currently serves on the Board of Directors for AxoGen, Entellus Medical, Endologix, and Bioventus, Novo A/S, Arsenal Medical/480 BioMedical, and Christel House International. Gudio joined Essex Woodlands as a Partner in August 2006, was promoted to Managing Director in 2008, and was appointed to Operating Partner in February 2013.

From 1982, until his retirement in November 2005, Guido worked at Eli Lilly and Co., later Guidant Corporation, a world leader in the development of cardiovascular medical products. His latest role at Guidant was as Chief Operating Officer, when he was responsible for the global operations of the company’s four operating units. Prior to that, he worked in various positions to oversee worldwide sales operations, corporate and marketing communications, and investor and government relations.

From 1972 to 1980, he held positions in information technology, finance, and manufacturing at Raychem Corporation in Belgium and the U.S.
