    Martine Bolsens-Peetermans has been on the board of Amici Lovanienses since 2014. She leads the operation and administration of the Californian hub of the organization. Martine thrives on the energy of a network where the diversity and expertise of partners provides an excellent breeding ground for breakthrough thinking — and she appreciates the multitude of opportunities to engage with the wider network.

    Martine is co-founder of Kenya Women Rising, a program focused on empowering women to become leaders in their communities. Previously, Martine has served as Program Manager for Women Leaders of the World, an organization that empowers women all over the world to come together to create impactful change. From working with disadvantaged women in the Bay Area, California to facilitating workshops in Kenya, her goal is always to uncover the brilliance of each individual and to bring every audacious dream to life.

    Martine serves on the Board of Fellows, Santa Clara University, California and is board member of Destiny Reflections, India, a non-profit that works to end human trafficking and slavery.
